Muibat Ijaiya is a strategy management & execution expert. She is the Managing Partner responsible for our Middle East and Africa practice.
Muibat has over 15 years consulting and advisory experience working with large and complex organisations across both the public and private sectors in Europe, Middle East, Asia, and Africa. Her client engagements range from strategy development and implementation to performance improvement. She frequently supports clients in designing and implementing strategy execution and performance management frameworks, aligning human capital and organisation structure, linking budgets and operational plans to strategy, and driving change and transformation. Muibat’s strength is in her ability to work with leaders to reach consensus on their strategies and to mobilise their organisation for execution.
Muibat has led engagements for many globally recognised organisations. Some of her recent clients include Allianz Global Investors (Asia Pacific), Aviva, Qatar Telecom (Qtel), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Electricity and Water Authority Bahrain, Woqod Qatar Fuel, Tamkeen, Nigeria Financial System Strategy (FSS2020), AstraZeneca UK, and ITFC-Islamic Development Bank.
Muibat previously worked directly with Drs. Kaplan & Norton – the co-creators of the Balanced Scorecard and Strategy Focused Organisation concepts as an Engagement Director with Palladium Group Inc. Her other consulting and advisory experience was in Strategic Finance with Ernst & Young in London and with Robson Rhodes RSM Business Consulting. Prior to consulting, Muibat gained her industry experience at Eli Lilly, a global pharmaceutical company.
Muibat continues to work on advancing the science of strategy execution. Her interest is in effecting real transformation and step change. Muibat frequently speaks at conferences in Europe, Africa & the Middle East on strategy execution and implementation.

Muibat holds a BSc in Mathematics and Education, an MSc in Management Science and Operational Research from Warwick Business School, and an MBA from Manchester Business School.
